Tracy Cook-Person is a Folk Herbalist, educator, lecturer, professional storyteller and a published poet. She has been an Assistant Professor at LIU in the School of Education and Technology as well as an Instructor of Pedagogy and Clinical Practice for the TR@TC2 program in the Office of Teacher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Tracy is a member of the American Herbalist’s Guild and the American Botanical Council. She is ABD in the Doctoral program from the Graduate Center at CUNY in the Urban Education program and holds a MS in Forensic Psychology as well as an MS in Leadership and Policy. She has worked with programs such as the World Council for Curriculum and Instruction as delegate to the United Nations under UNESCO.
Tracy has brought her passion for Folk medicine and community wellness together with her background in education and storytelling to create Southern Alchemy Wellness, an experience in support of health and wellness!

Darrin is a theatre artist, filmmaker, historian, and screenwriter. New York born and Kansas City raised, Darrin holds an MFA in theatre and a BGS in film studies. An avid enthusiast of the gothic and the macabre, Darrin hosts a YouTube channel titled The Midnight Show of Shadows. He join's his wife Tracy’s fascination with the medicinal and mystical qualities of herbs.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Gage is a artist who has many mediums in his portfolio. Through a thirst for knowledge and a love of the natural world, he has amassed a deep well of skills that he now pulls from to give to others through his work. Whether in the jewelry he creates, his reiki practice, or his sound meditation performances, Gage imbues everything he does with energy and care in hopes to enrich the lives of everyone his art touches that walks through the door.
